Unfortunately the kit is incomplete.. missing booklet and slides..

Gran Turismo Demo Brought by KB Toys [NTSC/UC]

Minichamps Audi R8 LMS Team Phoenix 24h Nurburgring 09 #98 1 of 999 pcs.

I wanted to find all cars with the GRAN TURISMO on the glass..
but..
at least 90% of the car have this decal..
and the starters at 24h of nurburgring 2009 were 176..
not counting the 2008 edition or 2007..
I dropped the idea, the bad idea!!

 

I thought the same things.
in ADAC 24h, all cars were made specially. scale models also.
there are few numbers to sell, so resin models are expensive in comparison with the diecast.
I gave up an ambition to collect all "GT Logo" model cars last year, and focusing to "(GT) sponsored main" cars.

but The charm of this car knocked me out.

 

Doing a quick search into minichamps catalog:

2006 = 1 car
2007 = 3 cars
2008 = 10 cars
2009 = 10 cars (4 buyed!)

24 cars buyed at my favorite store, roughly correspond to 1.920,00 EUR
this is insane, too for me!!

Good addition. OPM / OP2M discs seems just different title (ex, "euro demo No.XX" etc.) or code by each PAL countries.

I'm glad the discs arrived safely.
I've found out that the three PS2 demos are most likely French, even though I got them from somebody in Germany.

PS1:
While the UK, "European" (black disc Euro Demos), and Australian OPM demos all come with the same contents (but with different disc artwork), the German and French Euro Demo GER/Germany // France/FRA/FRE are totally unique compositions of games. (Though some GER/FRA contains just the same as the "main" Euro Demos, but with different menu music/graphics.)

I'm working on an all PAL PS1 demos website, which will show all that pretty clearly. Around 400 demos scanned + game contents listed. There are quite many PS1 demos with GT contents!

PS2:
All German discs are unique, and some French demos are also unique (though the title on the disc would be just the same as "the main series", but with different SCED code, of course). Elsewhere it seems they got the main OPS2M series as in UK.

 

the question of the demo is even more difficult than the games..

for example:

the disc with code SCED-00825 is:

1- Euro Demo 29 for PAL - Italian version
2- Euro Demo 29 (OPSM 8) for PAL - australian version
3- OPSM Demo 12 Vol. 2 for PAL - UK version

but.. the same title "Euro Demo 29" is also on the code SCED-01849 for PAL - French version..

unfortunately I could not find a full list of demos..

Yes, that's because the French Euro Demo series is an entirely different series. The disc titles are just Euro Demo XX like the main Euro Demo series, but if you look above the Sony Computer Ent. logo on the right side of the disc, it will say FRA, FRE or similar, to show it's in the French series.
