New Forum Section Proposal - Console Dumping Methods I was thinking it would be great if there was a new section added to the 0th bit, a 'Console Dumping Methods' section. Anyone can create a new thread (ex: Sega Dreamcast GD-ROM/GD-R Dumping Methods) with a tutorial on how to dump retail/prototype games for a particular video game system. The purpose is to aid those who may have prototypes but are clueless on how to create a backup image (Atari, Genesis, or Nintendo cartridges, etc).
mmmh nice, actually using the wiki would expose such topics too much to public disclosure... so maybe this might be an idea?
I actually think that this is a good idea, but it might be better to be in a public section of the forum, so newcomers lurking to find how to dump their duke nuken forever 1999 BETA Odyssey dvd-rom (pretty rare stuff ain't it!?) could find how to do it easily even if they can't acess the 0th bit. Maybe making a sticky with all the known backup methods for both retail and beta media in each console sections would be a great idea... I love the idea actually. FG
