When i power it on, the blue led goes on, I hear a pop sound and then in powers off. Usually this indicates that the light from one screen is gone (mostly the top one), but non of the screen is flashing.

The good screen doesn’t always flash, water damage can also cause the problem

Thank you. Do you know where are the points for top screen backlight on the motherboard? I can try the resistor mod and see if it powers up with only the bottom one. The motherboars is in good condition, it doesn't seem to be damaged by water. Also the flex cable for the top screen seems ok ( i only removed the back cover an i can see the cable)

I know. I've added a resistor instead of the bottom screen. Same thing. So it must be the top screen or the motherboard.
PS: It's a pain opening these. Everything uses clamps and glue.

It’s usually the top screen, the hinge ribbon cable flexes and eventually shorts the backlight power causing a pinpoint burn hole. This has been a chronic problem since the game boy advance sp. it’s also the reason that DSI units have bad cameras. Motherboard issues are rare but sometimes do happen.
