I think the reason that weird-ass games like that end up being on the backwards compatible list is that various titles start working accidentally whenever they purposely get one (good) game to work.
i was hearing alot of these undesired titles tend to use similar types of engines and calls to the graphics chip. I downloaded it today as well, but it doesnt support any other xbox games i have. I wish theyd fix some of the older ones on the list, cause sega gt runs waaaaaaaay too slow in game.
Which brings up a point: how much do they test these things? Several games they had on their list previously before being taken down had some major glitches in the beginning. Do they just pop the disc in and pray the start up screen works?
Now, if they'll just fix support for atleast ONE smilebit game, along with Fatal Frame/Project Zero 2, one of the Mech Assaults and some clever solution to Steel Battalion, then I'm sold for sure and will be jumping the 360 just for the Backwards Compatibility (and I do own a regular Xbox, I just feel like getting something new, and the more of my Xbox games gets supported by the BC, the more likely it is that my "something new" will be the 360)
No not yet. Here's the link to the offical list though which is always up to date: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwardcompatibilitygameslist.htm
