I received today a faulty new 3ds xl.
It doesn't power on and it doesn't charge.
Does anyone know the fuse location for the new 3ds xl?

You can find some good pictures of the motherboard here:

I think there's one near the charger socket. And another one under the battery pcb. They are good. Maybe there's another one?

It sounds like you already found them but are these the fuses you are testing? Those should be the only ones. DB Fuse.PNG MB Fuse.PNG

Is the power supply good? If the battery is dead and power supply is dead, you get dead system. Borrow a charger from any 3DS or from DSi, those should work and try them.

The battery and the charger are good. I've tested them.

The only thing left I can think of is not holding down power button long enough? Not the charger, not the battery and not the fuse if it is not the power button I have no other idea.

Was it brand new or used? If it's used and less than a year old, maybe you can get in warranty service?

It was purchased as faulty. I've tested the power button with a multimeter and it's ok. Also the lcd cables are good.
In fact everything is in good condition.
