    Hi all,

I've been lucky enough to obtain a new slimline TEST station so I thought I'd share some pictures and information about it.

The model number of the console is DTL-H75000A which takes on the architecture of the fairly new SCPH-75000. The console is approx 6 months old and as far as I'm aware has no extra abilities or features of any of the other TEST consoles.

It cannot support a hard drive, although I have yet to try a USB version and lacks a firewire (s400 i-link) port. It's very similar to the DTL-H50000 series in that respect. Also the DTL-H75000A features the IR receiver just like the DTL-H50000 series.

In the browser the firmware version numbers appear as follows:
    Console: DTL-H75000
    Browser: 1.40
    CD Player: 2.00
    PlayStation driver: 2.00
    MAC Address:

The console's native screen output is PAL. This doesn't suprise me considering the console was from a British development company. Although I have no idea why the console has "A" after the model number and also, why the sticker doesn't say PAL on it.

Another TEST station mystery perhaps...!

    Enjoy the pictures.

(Serial and barcode numbers removed intentionally)

Ahh, that explains your new avatar. I noticed it and wondered where on earth that TEST logo could be from! ;)

    Very nice!
