I loved KI. KI2 Sucked. Now if they would bring it out for Live I would Buy it but the directional pad sucks on the 360 (and to say it PSP, PS3 and WII {no good way to hold it} and any other system other than the SNes). And your car was like that when i got here and your grandmother shouldn't of mouthed off like that. G
Even though it was April Fools, Rare updated their site with 5 different scenarios for the plot, and said that 1 of them was the real one.
1/4/08: Disinformation Central '08 It hasn't escaped our notice that many of you are expecting some kind of Banjo- themed April Fool's Day prank. Some of you have even suggested that the B-K 3 teaser site is just a hoax (it's not). But as has been said before, we're not in the business of crushing your dreams, hence this 'exciting' new edition of previously canned feature Disinformation Central. It goes like this: we print some Banjo 3 story possibilities, knowing that only one of them contains any truth, and then... well, we wait ages before confirming one and denying the others. So entertaining, we might even do it every year! Rumour One: Banjo and Grunty team up against a new threat, falling in love in the process. Sexy post-transformation Grunty makes a return and proves irresistible to our heroic bear, much to Kazooie's disgust. Can the mismatched trio defeat their fire-breathing foe? Rumour Two: Kazooie is abducted by aliens and Banjo heads out to search the cosmos. Partway through his low-gravity exploits, he discovers who's taken her... and it's a familiar face from the Rare archives who has been 'turned to the green side' by Grunty. Rumour Three: Banjo and Kazooie travel back through time in pursuit of the witch's giant T.I.T. Grunty drives her Time Interfering Truck back to before the bear and bird met. The duo must reintroduce themselves and relearn everything they know in a completely new way! Rumour Four: Banjo comes out of retirement to stop his home being redeveloped into tower blocks and malls. To end the struggle, a capricious higher power engineers a bear/witch showdown through worlds of the imagination – with Spiral Mountain's ownership deeds going to the victor. Rumour Five: War comes to Spiral Mountain, and Banjo becomes a reluctant leader. Ever seen a Jinjo Tank? Or Grunty's Grappling Grenadier Grunts? You will when you take on our innovative RTS-platformer hybrid campaign. So what do you think? Which one's true? Any of them, or did we make them all up? Nah, we're not that bad. Are we? Insightful guesswork based on company policy/projected success/sheer blind hope is welcome, so feel free to contact Scribes and we may even post a selection of your wildly inaccurate comments at a later date. And don't bother trying to beat us into submission - as always, we'll 'fess up when we're good and ready. Until then, all sorts of hilarious process-of-elimination-based shenanigans await you.
That video looks more like a teaser than a trailer, we dont get to see any actual footage, just some CG that isnt cheesy but could've been put together in no time. Dunno, its been almost a decade since the first one, I've the feeling we arent going to see this game in X360 before 2010, if it doesnt goes straight to the next Xbox...
Yeah the X06 one, right? So, at least 2 years in development.............in Rare's time that means they're still working on the concept art:lol: Just j/k...
I don't think Rare has done anything. I know for a fact they are still trying to unlock the key to the building m$ bought them.
"Only one contains any truth" means that the "true" synopsis may be only partially true...and even then the "truth" in question might be something as simple and irrelevant as "Banjo and Kazooie fight Grunty for the umpteenth time as usual". Rare is perverse like that. This is the House of BFD we're talking about, after all (nag nag prototype Twelve Tales ROM radda radda). But hey, it'd be fun if the truth was that they are lying in that all five are partly true and the game is a mishmash, parallel universe gauntlet run across time and space and a myriad of disparate worlds, environments and settings (hopefully with more comedy and less snark than Banjo-Tooie). Or maybe I need to break down and play Space Quest IV sometime. >_>
i think the space scenario is poking fun at Galaxy Considering the co-op nature of multiplayer that is planned, I d say the time-warp scenario seems likely. I think having the ability to control the bear and the bird through seperate controllers is pretty nifty, although unannounced yet. My sources I shall not reveal!
