Got a 1994 Mitsubishi 3000GT base about a month ago. Let me just say that it is just a ton of fun to drive. Gets thumbs ups all the time. Basically, got off my shift at work on Sunday at 8PM - hop in the Honda with my dad and drive through the night to Peoria, IL. We get about 2hours of sleep on the way. We arrive in Peoria about 9AM in the morning, just in time for the Commerce Bank drive-in to open up. I withdraw $4000 cash (which wipes me out) and drive up to Rockford to meet the owner. Take it for a test drive. Owner guy says "Take it up to whatever you feel comfortable at, ain't no paddy wagons around here" I take it up to 100MPH, run out of road. After buying the car, I see not one, but TWO Dodge Charger COPS on the same road. Damn! Oh, and then I drive 7 hours home to work 8hours that day Fun times. Here it is currently after a ton of work: Link to hi-res pic: (my new desktop wallpaper) http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/1664/car4goodkf7.jpg Also took another picture in HDR: Taken with a point-and-shoot Canon A590. No custom firmware, just exposure adjusting. h::icon_bigg:icon_bigg:love2::love2::nod:
Nice pics, is that a twin turbo in US markets or N/A? V.nice car btw... imagine the cost of running that petrol wise in UK!!
the mitsu GTO is one of my favorite cars... T_T i'm so envious... i'll never be able to afford one... please bring it to some racetrack, she needs it and make some pics for our sake
Nice! Glad to hear your enjoying your "new" car man! :thumbsup:Im more of an EVO man myself though ;-) And thats pretty scary seeing two cops on that same road. I love that lucky feeling, knowing that you just escaped a hassle. And damn! Those pictures look so... Hand drawn. Like a very realistic Hand Drawn type of photo, hahaha. Stay outta trouble now! :110:
Thanks. It's the base 222HP DOHC V6. Definitely gets up and goes. I laid down the smack on some wannabe Honda-drivers but now I don't bother showing off. When a ricer pulls up next to me and revs his engine wanting to race, I nod at him. Then when the light turns green he guns it out of there looking like an idiot while I just slowly pull out like everyone else.
Those pictures look un-nature, But I like them very much. I can't even get that affect from my EOS 400D but then again I'm lacking to things your have: a: Something nice to take a picture of b: Being good with a camera I like your car by the way, suped up it could be a Ferrari beater so I hear.
