It's only for Japanese residents, yes.

Meh, can't wait for that European online store.

I've got 5 slips, but don't know how much points are on each slip. 4 slips are from DS games and the 5th slip is from my DS hardware. Anyone got any idea how much points I got?

Well a ds console is 50 points.

The games vary depending on what they are but in general they will give you 30 points each.

A Special editon pad or a wallpaper of mario's fat ass

Nintendo Europe really need to get their ****ing act together

Just wait -- just about all this stuff winds up on Yahoo Japan... a lot of it goes down in value as well. The Luigi and Mario controllers were up to 5000 yen apiece at one point, and then eventually down to roughly 3000.

Yeah, I do have a couple of DS games with points, but then when I figured out how little points each game was actually worth, I figured it wouldn't be worth attempting to trade them off to someone with access to Club Nintendo. Isn't it something nearing like 15 points for one DS game?

    The UK/Europe one has always bee SH1T....not the 1 not I :)

But from what I understand the US don`t even have that.

When I used to deal/speak with the Nintendo PR people (CakeMedia) I kept referring them e-mails/posts on how people used to complain so much about what rubbish they got. Who want`s wallpapers etc.

The Japanese have got the correct idea. Nintendo in Europe/US could gain back a lot of kudos by improving this. After all MS/Sony don`t have anything similar at all!

Nah DS games are worth about 30 points each, GBA games are worth 20 points & GC games are from 30 to 60 points.

Plus depending on how close to release date you register the points you get from 10 to 30 bonus points.

Its taken me months to raise 1210 points & im going to go mad in october when the new stuff comes out. Still need to raise a few hundred more points till i have 1950 so i can get everything from the new stuff thats coming.

"runs off to order more games" (^_^)

In the US we've had the Zelda bonus disc, which was very nice, then a Metroid Prime 2 Demo Disc, a 4 month subscription to Nintendo Power. Oh, and you also get "special content on Nintendo.com, like exclusive movies and strategy tips". I believe that's everything, but I didn't bother keeping up with it. The worst thing about it is there are so few (relatively) games that you can register. Then again, the blockbuster trick helps those who really want one of the bonuses, and with the Zelda and Metroid bonuses, you could have decided to pick up a what, $20 subscription to Nintendo Power instead?

  16. They're modeled after the original Famicom controllers. For some bizarre reason, the player 2 controller on the Famicom had a microphone (red section above the screen) and a sliding volume knob (above the D-pad) to control the volume of the input. I really have no idea what this was ever used for aside from that Takeshi Kitano game where you had to sing karaoke.

On the subject of club nintendo, did anyone get one of those rev controllers which act as remotes for your TV?

I wish. I've got Japanese Nintendo points but can't use 'em. Damn you, Nintendo! I've registered so many American games, and what do I get? Wallpapers. Thanks.
