Oooh, it looks pretty, but I don't know. I didn't like it before... I'm conflicted... On another note, anybody played Children of Mana yet?
No, but i heard its decieving :crying: When will we finally get a good Mana game? Certainly not with that 3d ps2 one, sadly.
Looks nice, I wonder if FFVII/VIII/IX could ever see a release on Nintendo DS... A combination of expanded flash memory on the Nintendo DS cards and better compression might make it able to port those games, although PSP would be somewhat more logical. Still, both platforms are up for the task IMO, although DS ports would require most work.
Why do you say that? I didn't think the PS2 3d one looked half bad. Also, Seiken Densetsu 3 (aka. Secret of Mana 2) was awsome It's Famitsus mascot I believe.
I'm worried about the new one for PS2 because the last Mana title sucked (Legend of Mana). If Children of Mana is bad as well, then I'm really worried. SD3 was pretty good, though. ^_^
SD 3 was pretty good, but it was ages ago. Legend of mana Sucked. Sword of mana kinda sucked. It seems like Children of mana Sucks. I fear a 3d version of man might sucks if done badly.
Thats part of the problem. Instead of focusing on the gameplay, they're focusing on the shineys. SD3 was the best in my opinion, but to be honest, the Mana game on PS1 wasn't too bad considering the options.
Holy crap! I forgot Sword. That's how much I didn't like it. ^_^;; Back to FF3, are there any major changes to it other than 3D?
I'm hopeful about this one. Also the new artwork is quite nice - good to see a move away from CC As for Children of Mana, I only got it last week and it is not bad by any means. It seems a little easy but it is endearing and I am looking forward to spending some time with it when I have the time to do so.
Damn, I forgot. I never used the Red Mage, anyway. He cant use the most powerful spells. My first playthrough, I had two Fighters and a Black and White Mage. I wonder how hard all white mages is?
deeper strory, new dungeons, side-quests, heroes with personalities and other random changes from there to there
