Found this link on Capcom USA's main page. Anyone else seen it? Is it on store shelves anywhere? ftp://ftp1.highmoonstudios.com/darkwatch/HGM_June_PDF.pdf ftp://ftp1.highmoonstudios.com/darkwatch/HGM_June_PDF.zip It's the PDF version of a new gaming mag. I'm assuming it is a US release because Capcom Europe doesn't have it on its site. -hl718
Doesn't seem too hardcore, unless hardcore means lots and lots of in your face graphics. Must be expensive to press. And like I give a flying fuck about them interviewing one of their friends who cosplays. EXCLUSIVE!!!
This seems to be their website. http://www.hardcoregamermag.com/ Capcom Europe isn't publishing Darkwatch. Ubisoft is publishing it for Europe.
We Hardcore need to think up a new name for ourselves since the Casual's stole it from us. How bout' the Enthusiasts?
Since they're the "Hardcore Gamer"s now, we'll call ourselves casual gamers. Then they'll steal the term casual from us. Then, when they're all casual gamers again...we'll take hardcore back.
Why not read it on your computer for free? I believe that is the whole issue. How about Pathetic since anyone who wants to spend time quibbling over who is hardcore and who is not is just pathetic?
Hardcore Gamer is actually the rebirth of Diehard GameFan. They were at E3 this year. GameFan was a pretty good magazine (judged relative to other game magazines, that is, which doesn't say much really). Anyway, I actually like the term "casual gamer," I think it best describes the kind of gaming I like. I'm planning on setting up a website called Casual Gamer (there's nothing there now, but it will eventually be http://www.atari.net/sites/casualgamer though I may get a domain if I actually end up working on the site regularly.) ...word is bondage...
You want to know how hardcore the magazine is? On one of their pages in the PDF, they say that Andy Bogard makes an appearance in Garou: Mark of the Wolves. But I guess these dumbasses don't even know that Garou is Fatal Fury so no shit he is going to make a 'hidden guest appearance,' because that is his own series! They seem to throw around a bunch of games that the average gamer may not know but, as I could give many other example, they don't really know about the games that they are throwing around themselves...Sigh
You are probably on the wrong message board then. BTW, Sweaterfishdeluxe, my website will be called "Hardcore Gaming Emperor".
