Nice I was trying to create an exibit for museum travel (and even contacted Yakumo about using Retro Core as part of it) Nothing came of it due to a funding issue (IE I broke a tooth and took up a new hobby) but this is awesome.
That doesnt even come close to some members here. Care to comment Kaori30? Could have the best job in the world ever?
The picture of the three guys standing in front of the stack of games looks like my closet. I am sure if my wife had her choice my games would be "donated" to the cause.
I hate their timeline as it's too American specific... They do seem to forget the first computer games of any description were made in good old blighty, including the first dedicated gaming machine. I do also like the way that they have an MB Simon with the switch covers missing...
If only they can document and examine dev kits.... Now that would be a TRUE museum. But yeh, the majority of the museum will consist of American consoles....
which could be easily replicated by going to a number of Assembler memebers homes...... some of whom probably have more.
Hahahaha, you gotta start somewhere. I am sure they will add more as time goes on. You make it seem like they are pathetic for doing this!
I think you a bit mistaken as this isn't just some start up but part of a larger museum affiliated with the Smithsonian. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strong_National_Museum_of_Play
