Finally I can blast stuff on my projector. From some of those videos the it looks like you could get it working on a pretty damn big screen(I dunno about 8'6' but id be happy with half that). The big news is that it works really, really well. People are selling thier guncons and buying these. Uses two sensor bars with IR recievers on them that you place on each side of the TV. It has a recoil via force feedback/the top of the gun shifts, I guess it feels really nice. This is VERY promising indeed.
It seems like it's actually pretty decent, I definately wouldn't mind one though the G-con2 had a Dpad and it doesn't look like this thing has one not that I knew any game that really used it but at least it's black not freaky orange.
Has a D pad where the hammer would be on a real gun(look at the instructions on the site). Has 4 buttons, a laser sight you can turn on or off, has recoil, you can point off screen to reload(which is crucial in some games) and not loose calibration. I guess mouse tracking is huge for getting guns working with mame and perhaps other pc games, appears this thing does it really well. Looks like this is finally the real thing guys. Im ordering a few next week. I'll let you know what I think. Oh by the way anyone know of a list or lists of all the ps2 and Xbox gun games? Maybe now they will repeal those stupid "no black toy guns" laws. :rambo: Sadly, I think they will try to use this as an excuse to get rid of ALL toy guns. Hell, schools have already started to throw out kids for using fish-stick guns...
Maybe you missed the news story a week or two back about a kid in the US that was shot by police when he brandished a toy gun and pointed it at the officer as if he was going to shoot? It was only after the kid had been fatally shot that they realized it was a toy gun that had had the orange ring painted black. So long as there are stupid people there will be stupid laws. -hl718
Sadly this kind of thing has been happening for about 20 years. Thats why the Nes Zapper suddenly went orange. Hey Fab is there no way to connect ps2 or Xbox to dreamcast? An adaptor must exist(if it would work properly).
Get an Xbox and HotD3. When you play through and finish 3, it unlocks a full version of 2. Or, if you have a modded/debug Xbox, you can directly play the HotD2 xbe off the disk. :nod:
