http://gameboy.ign.com/objects/736/736628.html?fromint=1 The protonists are indeed Red and Blue from the first game (althougth I still maintain Red looks like a girl), but will actually have different game paths depending on which character you play as. In some of the screenshots, a character - usually Blue - is riding on top of some flying jet thing - is that Yellow at the controls? Also, in one of said screens, there appears to be another plane/helicopter type thing that looks awfully familiar to the one you fight Orange on in the first game... All in all, I'm definately excited to hear more about it from E3! :smt045
Hope it plays just as good as the original one. On a side note, have you guys ever played Dolphin Blue (Atomiswave arcade) ? I played it yesterday and i loved it! Demolish Fist (also Atomiswave arcade) is an ok game too.
Cool, I guess my GBA will be coming out the drawer again! And this time it won't just be for Tetris...
Johnny, I've been wanting to play Dolphin Blue ever since it was announced, but none of the local arcades hardly have any Naomi games (MvsC2 and SVC:Chaos being the only ones) much less any Atomiswave hardware. I'm hoping that with The Rumble Fish being released on PS2, Sammy might see fit to put out Dolphin Blue as well, even in Japan.
When is Tales of Phantasia coming out to the GBA in America? I think Nintendo Power still has it on their list of upcoming GBA games as of about 3 or 4 years!
It's a shame. The game is great, although not better than Metal Slug or Gunstar Heroes. I'll try to get some pics of the arcade with a cellphone of a friend.
