    Hey everyone,

Long time lurker, first time poster. The main forums I frequent are Shmups, KLOV, and some rhythm gaming sites. I mainly collect arcade and retro console stuff. I also just got my first piece of dev hardware last month: A PS2 TOOL from Japan. I probably bit off more than I can chew though, because I'm not a programmer. I also am a CRT nut, and have a mountain of PVMs and BVMs. Here are some pictures of my collection. I also recently moved, so a lot of the arcade pictures are out of date.

My old PVM collection. Every 13" CRT in the middle was sold at Magfest back in January! I have since gotten a bunch more 20" BVMs.

My Race Drivin' cabinet. Cool story behind this, the boardset has prototype roms which are not in MAME. Don't worry, they have been dumped.

My DDR cabinet. Cool story behind this too. I got it from a rich old lady who bought it brand new for her spoiled kids. It was hardly ever played and never used in an arcade.

My beatmania IIDX machine. This is a really old pic from when I first got it. Note: That's not me in the pic!

My Time Crisis II. Only paid $50 at auction! Nobody wants these things!

Old picture. The DDR in this pic was sold a long time ago. The bar was damaged in transport and I had a friend take a acetylene torch to it to bend it back!

This was a second pair of GuitarFreaks/Drummania machines that I ended up selling to an arcade.

    I regretted selling this one...

Only Pinball I ever owned. It had a weird issue where it would reset whenever both flippers were hit simultaneously, if it was on the same circuit as other video games. Traded it for 3 other arcade games.

The old lineup! Sadly two of the Egret II's have been sold...

Ah I miss these guys... All of these except the short guy on the far right have been sold. Three 6-slot PCBs and a 4-slot PCB making for a total of 22 slots of games!!

Haha, I used to hang my CPS boards on the wall. All of this was sadly sold...

Well that's it for now! Hopefully once I get my things sorted in my new house I can take some new pictures!

You should open your house as an arcade. Also what is the interest in CRTs? lol besides breaking them and maybe making something cool like an electron gun from the parts :D

All hail the king of CRTs. Now make a throne out of them.

I love CRTs because they have a look that modern displays just can't replicate. I only collect these pro monitors though. I don't collect the consumer junk. I actually have a connection with a local AV surplus company that sells me their PVMs for next to nothing. They hate dealing with them because they are heavy and a hard sell. I hate to see good pro monitors go to the dumpster, so I always end up taking them.
