http://kotaku.com/5564120/kirby-gets-his-first-game-on-the-wii It's made to look like the whole game is fabric. This is going to be awesome.
Agreed ASSEMbler. Looks really interesting and as I said in the E3 thread gave the series a nice bit of fresh air its been needing for its return. Contrats to Nintendo for thinking up a good new concept to continue the series.
Just think when he blows out, the side of the level will ripple like a flag and enemies will bounce like on trampolines.
Saw it on the live stream, it looks awesome! And it looks like it has 2 player support, it'll sure be damn fun!
I always thought Nintendo buying out Sega would be the end of the world, but these days I can only dream of such a happy ending - at least the former company knows how to move forward, continue producing innovative technology AND respect its classic franchises. Sadly, the one thing Nintendo really couldn't ever do was repeat this level of console success in the arcade world (though at least it does have a stranglehold in the handheld field)...
True, Sega could really do more with the NiGHTs character if they wanted. Sonic also still has unexplored posibilities :/
The only thing i can say about this title is that it combines the fabricness of yoshi story and the cuteness of kirby. The result? Adorable.
*High Five* It's like nintendo actually realised why last year's E3 Show was so god awful and worked their asses off to not repeat.
It reminds me of yoshi's story: 2D but groundbreaking at the time. Lets see how the gameplay is though. I think nintendo learned quickly from the endless mario party games that one can only stretch the brand so far But SEGA? they NEVER learned that, not even during the heyday when you had all these loosely planed products for the sonic franchise. Seriously, when I was a kid there were only 2 kind of sonic sneakers and were both pure shit, and even back then I wondered why they didnt do a synergy with a real shoe company like nike or reebok. Sonic runs, what makes more sense? shoes or underwear?
Really cool. This and Donkey Kong Country Remake are my E3 highlights, the fabric look is simply beautiful and the features that come along with it seem pretty interesting and fun. The first time since it got out I'm seriously considering the purchase of a Wii. Wait... this comes on disc, right?
