sram auto backup function provide atumatical sram backup on sd befor game change, and automatical save data load from sd to sram after game change, so not need to change sram bank or do backup on sd manually. also new os supported with big save for md games (up to 32kbyte) http://krikzz.com/pub/support/everdrive-md/os-bin/os-v22.bin
That is very handy!! Thanks a lot, now I can switch between Sonic 3 and Madoh Monogatari without having to do any fuss
Just updated my cart now. Thanks so much!!! Cart is so reliable. Now we need a NES Everdrive and I would be very happy!
i would ask you about the video module you have here: http://krikzz.com/pub/support/everdrive-md/module/bin/videoplay-mod.bin what it is? (the link is broken anyway)
look interesting *_* i downloaded the bin video file (simpson etc) but the link to the module is broken how can i run the video? EDIT: founded browsing in the directories ^_^
I don't understand how this works. If I start Shining Force and make a save I can reboot the system and load it just fine. If I play another game and saves that, that too works fine. But once I reload Shining Force I get the error: - And I have to start all over :/ As far as I can understand there is no need to manually backup and load anything anymore, right? I'm using OS 23.
it is some software bug, i will try to fix it. can you send to me your MDSAVE.DAT and your Shining Force ROM? on biokrik@gmail.com please
Removing the MDSAVE.DAT seems to have solved my problem The new MDSAVE.DAT is also 10 times larger than the old one. I have sent you the files anyway in case this is a bug and you can use the information. I just got this thing two days ago and I just realized today that there was no need to load and save manually anymore. I did that the first days so maybe that's what caused this bug? Thanks for great support and a fine product!
So there is no reason to use the "In game" save function that games like Shining Force, Phantasy Star, etc have? So as soon as you stop playing that game and switch to another it will save your state and when you reload that game another time you will start right back where you were? Or do you have to map the load state function to a button or something like on emulators? Can you still use the in-game save function if you choose as well?
This is not save states. You save the game like you normally would i.e. the church in Shining Force. But you no longer have to move saves back and forth in the Everdrive menu and you don't have to worry about another game overwriting your saves
your MDSAVE file just 64k, but should be about8mbyte. probably you just replaced this file by some other by mistake
Thank you for updating your already awesome hardware, Krikzz. This is why I will keep buying your products.
