http://kotaku.com/5169177/the-sega-genesis-returns-sort-of at 53 USD I wonder if it's worth it, the face buttons look a bit uncomfortable and I m willing to bet that the 32X, PowerBase and MegaCD won't work on it. Better off getting an MD I or II probably:shrug:
It's probably another shitty Mega Drive on a chip meaning crappy sound and some game compatability problems. Just get the original Mega Drive or if not that then a Mega Drive 2. Yakumo
are those megadrive on a chip or arm-based emulators? I think I remember them modern generic Genesis/Megadrive being the latter.
Isn't this old news? Those units have been around for more than a year. I swear anything kotaku reports about is rehash.
53 USD? That's a rip-off, you can get the exact same thing at Play-Asia for 30 bucks: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-6z-49-en-70-2sf4.html And yes, these things are old news, except this is apparently about some dumb UK release for them.
What's insane is that they more or less have approval from sega ^^ They must really don't care about their great past anymore, lets watch the wall instead of behind ^^ So it's imperfect hardware, no good replication in either gfx or audio, possible instability, everything you can expect!
