I was getting irritated from the annoying register icon in the corner of the screen. Anyway I love my classic consoles, except for the 32x I got when they where back in the day when games where still being released, and I've modded most of them. Megadrive 1 pal ( with 50/60 and language switches) Sega Master system Power Base Converter Mega-CD 2 pal ( Stock for now ) Multimega pal ( Stock for now ) 32x pal ( awaiting delivery but going to get a 50/60 Hz switch ) Saturn Pal ( with 50/60Hz mod and Mod Chip ) Sega Dreamcast Pal ( with 4 wire Multi region Chip) Snes PAL ( with 50/60 HZ switch and disabled Lockout) SNES US ( with 50/60 HZ switches and Lockout switch ) Sony Playstation ( SCPH-1002 an early one chipped but has an odd fault, lost the ability to playback Atrac Audio) Sony Play station ( SCPH-7502 Chipped MM3 chip ) Sony Playstation 2 ( Chipped ) Xbox 360 ( completely stock) I'm considering doing a multi-bios mod on my Mega CD 2 (but getting full access to desolder the bios looks very difficult) but I really want to get a Mega CD Mk1, it looks alot easier. I'm in 2 minds about the Multi Mega as they are scarce and pretty pricey. I might consider putting modded bioses in the Saturn and Dreamcast too. I've been meaning to get around to a Flash programmer for some time, for helping to revive dead PC's from bad flashes and burning eeproms for video games systems. I got bored with games in the PS2 Era, Didn't help that the PS2 sucks. I've imported games too pretty much since I have games consoles especially with the SNES. I'd love to play games more but now just into my 30's it 's getting harder. I don't have the time with all the other things I Like or have to do. Away from the games Consoles I'm just generally very handy with anything electronic and mechanical. I spend a fair amount of time maintaining/repairing cars, I like my satellite dishes, my blu ray/hddvd collection, Sport in general.
Hi, UK here too. If you need pointing in the right direction for a programmer, I can help you out. Failing that, I can burn pretty much any chip you are likely to see.
