I found this website while doing a Google lookup for the Panasonic FZ-21S1 which is a 3DO M2 model. I'm trying to find out more info about this model. I'd like to know where I could find some games for this unit. Or whether someone would be interested in purchasing this unit. Please reply to this post or PM me if you are interested in purchasing, or know any more information about this unit.

P.S. Does anyone know how much this model orginally costed?

It was never for sale, so there isnt an original price tag.

If its an actual fz-21 you can expect a pretty good price and interested buyers for it.

I would be interested if i wasnt broke :( Right now i dont have time to tell you much about the system as im about to go outside. Ill try to remember and come back later with more info.

I'll post some pictures monday when I get back to work since I left my camera cable there. The back of the system says

    INTERACTIVE MEDIA PLAYER
    MODEL NO. FZ-21S1
    MADE IN JAPAN.
    T068ZZA

    Serial Number 8GKSB01001
    Manufactured: July, 1998

The system is top loading, dark grey with "Micro Card" slot and two control ports on the front
The back has a "Communication" port, Stereo AV and S-Video Port, Expansion port which looks like a PCMCIA slot.

I found this a the local flea market and knew that I had never seen a system like this, so I knew I should buy it from the guy. How in the world some old couple came up with this system and 3 controller for it, is beyond me.

    Thanks for the replies guys.

went on ebay for $2000. But those were new and boxed.

could be one of the final prototypes if am not confusing the numbers

please take some pictures and which color are the buttons on the front blue indicates its the real deal the console, grey/white buttons tell its a developer unit and its only the cddrive without any m2 console hardware

the cd drive grey button units sell for something from 500-1000 i think alone when they are packed with the m2 emulation card and documentry they reach from 1000-2600 i would say (m2 get too much common these days =)

the blue button units i saw once on ebay complete with case and all it did go for 2100 or 2300$ i think unit alone could go a little cheaper

Here are the pictures of the unit that I found. The unit powers up and displays and insert disk screen on the TV.

Lucky, Lucky guy. I'm not sure exactly the value, but its certain to be a fair amount. And from a flea market! mind telling how much you spent on it?

    Hey guys,

Yeah, this guy is for real. He sent me an e-mail a few days ago asking about the M2. I actually thought it was baloney until I saw these pics up here.

Damn, M2 in a flea market. I hereby vow to start checking out every flea market in the country.

You lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky, sonofagun.
