Another oddity I got. It's an N64 Debugger, but one I've not seen yet. It's not the standard KMC console (have one of those already). See pics below and let me know what you think this debugger console was used for?

This take the reset and CPU interrupt signal just like regular KµC N64.

But instead of taking PIF pin 8 signal, it take pin 14 and 27. Anyone know what those two pin are?

Do you know where that cable should plug in?

Early version of what will become the KµC we all know?

After verification on crazynation, 14 is GND and 27 is the reset switch input of PIF

EDIT: after verification U3 connection is the same a PIF 8

So it's just a old school version of a KµC N64.

Same thing. But still cool to see the evolution of thing :D Amazing stuff!

you got me. It came with the beta DD's. I'm sure someone here has seen one before. funny thing is it's been made from a japan model n64. Usually the kmc's are missing stickers on the bottom, but this one isn't.....bottom could have been replaces though....

It's the same as an KµC, but early enough that they didn't figured they could remove the mostly useless AV pinout (exept for WideBoys) on the cartridge connector to pass those signal directly.

This probably began as an in-house hack to make debugging easier and later on they make it available to other dev using a more polish hack.
