I feel like there's a definite difference between a "pirate" and this. This is definitely not really a pirate in the traditional sense; it wasn't made by a company in Taiwan or China or anything and was likely instead just some guy in his bedroom. The only true n64 "pirates" IMO are all the things made back in the '90s, though there's not so many of those to begin with.
