New Namco Cyber Lead I Owner - Need Jamma to JVS I/O Boards :-(

Hello all

I went back several pages in this thread and didn't find what i needed.

Does anyone have a good source for JAMMA to JVS I/O boards? These cabs were supposed to come with one, but apparently they were pulled out. Ebay has a matching board for $400, which to me seems like way too much.

So are you saying that the cabinet is 100% JAMMA without the I/o and you need the proper board to use a JVS Board/System?

Or is it JVS and you are wanting to connect a Jamma board?

If you were trying to connect a JVS board, the I/O I use for my Naomi has to be one of the most common and inexpensive that pops up on ebay. (83-13683-02)

 

It is JVS and i want to connect JAMMA to it.

 

Still no luck with the jamma to JVS adapter? These must be hard as hell to find.

 

that, and expensive. i've found 1 so far but there seems to be something off with it.

 

AFAIK Cyberleads don't come with the JAMMA->JVS converters from the factory, although I believe they were available as an option. Where did you read that this is the case?

The converters are quite expensive these days as they are hard to find. Most people can't be bothered to pay asking price and simply build their own conversion harnesses.

Going rate is USD $200+ last I checked.
