Have you guys heard about about the new exploits that are available on the new 3DS? All you need to do is add a few files to your SD card, go to an address in the browser and BAM! There's the Homebrew Channel! I've been using it to play my AUS version of Pokemon Y on my Japanese new 3DS, loving the better 3D! At this stage, I've been having to go the browser hack each time I reboot my 3DS, which is kinda annoying. I think there's a way to add the Homebrew Channel to your system, but you need a second hack. I can't seem to get the theme hack to work though, perhaps my 3DS is using the wrong firmware (even though I haven't downloaded any firmware updates in months). I think you can use Ocarina of Time 3D, but I'll need to get a Japanese copy of the game. Anyway, just thought I'd share this since I don't see any mention of it on the forums.
Cool, I'll try this out later today! EDIT: The information is sort of confusing, could you explain it a bit here?
Add the files to your SD card that are on the page I linked to. Then go here on your 3DS: http://yls8.mtheall.com/3dsbrowserhax_auto.php Check this page first, apparetly not all 3DS system can use this hack..?
Do you have an old 3ds to try it out on? Its a real pain, I can't get it to work at all. Some people say mash the A button when you hit the slider and that you need to click at the very end of the right side. Others are saying click the center, and that you don't need to hit the A button at all. I am getting the yellow screen, but it turns grey but then nothing happens. I tried reformatting my sd card (fat32) but still nothing. delete everything in the internet settings...........I almost fear that my fw is too old. I think i'm on like 8.2 or 8.6
Did you remember to add he homebrew channel data to the right folder in your SD card? If you're getting the flashing colors, but it stops on a grey screen, there's a problem with your homebrew channel data.
