If you can get past that it's CG, and that Splinter looks way off WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY OFF. It's actually really good, it's like somewhere between the 1980s series and the 2004 series. It's well written, the Turtles are distinct and Michelangelo is the most loveable character like EVER. as an old school turtles fan I'm impressed and glad the show is good, this adds some value to my Ninja Turtles comics and means I'll make more money when I sell them. clip:
Yeah they did change a few things, the Utroms are called the Krang, and April is now a Teenage girl and not a news reporter. Shredder is some super rich Mega villian thankfully not an Utrom like in the 2003 show. Only things I really don't like is April being a Teen and Splinter's design.
If this is about the upcoming movie, then it infuriates me(the fact that they changed the turtles from being regular turtles in the past to being aliens(I'm not a fan of the series, but this still infuriates me)).
I really enjoyed the new show. It had some great humor that even adults could appreciate. I don't really care for the animation style but I will keep watching just for the humor and the likable characters.
Awesome! I've been so wary of all the newer Turtles shows, good to see there's one that's pretty good. Loved the 1980's one, but only got ahold of maybe 5-6 comics in the day. Pretty good ones though, like the one where Raphael rips Krang off Shredder's head. The only advantage to April being a teen is that when the inevitable interspecial shipping rolls around at least she's not some creeper cougar.
