    Hi all

My old psu just expired in a spectacular manner just wondering what to buy must be at least 850w and price needs to be in £ and less than £100

    Thanks

To be honest, i wouldn't go cheap on a PSU. Check reviews for all 850W models you can find, to see if they are any good.

I wouldn't put price as an important thing for item like that.

I've been an Enermax customer since 2003 and I've even converted some fellow geeks to the cause and they didn't regret it.

They are chunky and well built, bulletproof if you will. Equally important though they pretty much do their advertised ratings which are often impressive, the only catch if you want the performance you have to pay for it so you can probably only get something shitty with your current budget.

Eh, My personal experience with CM PSU's haven't been so great.
Their other products i've had good experience with. But from Extremely loose power sockets to loud scratching noises , to complete PSU failure. Not a fan of their power supplies.

Well there is one good thing about CoolerMaster PSU, they RMA very quickly and are nice about doing repairs if anything is wrong.

Then again , you know, i've heard some people say some of the same things about Corsair PSU's (Loose Power socket, etc) Maybe it's just a random thing lol
