New Saturn protos?

I heard that yesterday at CGE, somebody was selling Saturn protos.. Anybody know what titles they were, and who was selling them? Appearently, whoever bought them is willing to do a release, though I don't even know what the titles are. Anybody know?

 

They'll be able to move this. The games were Werewolf: The Apocalypse and Major Damage. Both by Capcom.

Boy do I envy the person that was able to buy them :crying:

The high bidder for Major Damage didn't honor their bid. You guys may be in luck.. I'll contact the guy selling them and see if hes willing to sell it to one of you.

Eh, Major Damage is just a movie appearently? It had a high bid of 290

Werewolf was fully playable and went for ~600

 

Could've had two protos for $1000, not bad :nod:

Incooooooooooming! I might have said it somewhere but I was able to buy Major Damage. As it was uncertain the game was playable I did a split purchase with another ASSEMbler member (who remains anonymous for now, I'm sure he'll pop in here and tell).

Well, the disc came in today and we got ourselves a fully PLAYABLE game!
It's complete with intro, main menu, options screen, character select and multiple levels.

saturn_worship; maybe I'll do a (donated?) release some day but that also up to the other party involved. Being brutally honest; it's not up to levels of unreleased games like Fighting Force, Ninja, Syndicate Wars or even the recently released Return Fire. It reminded me of Johnny Bazookatone, which should say enough. (i.e: it's very mediocre gameplay wise).

Yeah, I was kinda worried it was just a disc with a CPK movie on it, this is pretty cool.

 

Well, it's not the most wanted proto but damn! these are really good news!!!

I hope werewolf reaches the net someday, if a donation is necessary... and by the way..what kind of game is werewolf??

This game would be the only reason for me to own a Saturn. I am outraged that Capcom never released this game (let alone finish it).
