Hi everyone found something interesting according to stuff magazine, a new Super Nintendo will be released in November with some re-released games like super mario world. Wow weird colors indeed, I kind of like it in and of itself... but from a gamer point of view, looks like a Dreamcast mounted a SuperFami and then had babies.
If they were going to release a clone of the PAL SNES/Super Famicom, they should've at least modified the cart slots to accommodate the american carts. Because at this point, why limit yourself to only pal and sfc games?
According to this, they (Lekki.com) merely repaint retro stuff and sell them overpriced. So no new console coming out, just a mediocre paint mod. Expensive too. I wish the guys behind retroduo could release a more compatible revision, they probably have the most stable clone out there at the moment.
I always wanted to find a cheap European SNES or a Super Famicom just for the rainbow button controllers and the shell of the system itself. Aesthetically, almost everything about the US SNES looks pretty terrible in comparison.
i have a retro duo, so no way would i cough up the cash for this, i like the idea of the neo-geo x gold with the handheld + docking station + arcade stick etc going to be pricey bu what you get is quality also they will be releasing more games on cards and its got hdmi and av out
So it's another "I didn't do my research, but I thought I be creative and make a new article about it" type of thing?
