Alright so the seller who gave me a borked SNES before decided he'd let me keep the borked one and give me a new one which was cool, so I plan to try fixing the borked one whatever it takes. But now this new one which DOES in-fact work perfectly has it's single issue ( 3rd party adapter causing interference on the screen over both RGB and RF, Green Bars horizontal going down the screen ), easy just need a better adapter and I'm rocking and rolling again. Now, Here's the strange issue which I'd really love to fix and I totally don't blame on the console but rather the cart... I just picked up a copy of Zelda: A link to the past - CIB map n all, I deleted the saves that were on it, made a new save (Battery/IC's intact?)... Then within the first 10 seconds it would seem of any game play or letting it sit at any screen for that matter it has a tendency to reboot?, If need be I can take a video of this but I'm really really looking for some help here the game wasn't cheap to get a hold of and it's literally my favorite game of all time so it not being playable is a HUGE disappointment for me. So any suggestions or ideas to get it to stop rebooting ( I narrowed it down to the cart, other games work perfectly fine ). Please any info, help, suggestions, etc would be greatly appreciated.
contacts all making contact properly? all clean and not broken? open it up and check out the cart physically first of all to see if you can spot anything that looks suspect.
Cartridge was dirty it seems I took it apart and cleaned it 100% got the corrosion off the contacts and boom no more resetting mid-game.
