    Hi all,
I hope my newb-ness won't be too evident with this post. I bought a Super Everdrive v2 about 6 months ago, to use with my EU SNES (UK), but not many games work. I've been reading around and it seems like it's something to do with a DSP chip (which I mistakenly did not order with my Everdrive, since I didn't know what it was...).
I am guessing there is no way for games requiring DSP to work with a normal Everdrive? All I want to do is play Mario Kart, but I can't find a EU rom that works with my Everdrive.

As I mentioned, I barely know what I am doing, so I would appreciate any advice (or links to easy-to-get starter guides on this - I have a programming background but I know very little about hardware, especially this old!).

    Thanks!

Have a look at this list. All of the games listed (Mario Kart being one of them) will not work. All others probably will.

I believe there's SE revisions where you can just solder in a DSP chip from another cart, no idea which revisions (and how likely it is that you got one) though.
