So with a little over 2 days to go the Kickstarter for the new Toejam and Earl is just under $7K from hitting its goal. It has some very nice rewards and the game is being made by one of the original creators (Greg Johnson) and is the TJ&E sequel he always wanted to do (as opposed to the two they had to do, which were fine games in their own right IMO). Damn, we're getting a LOT of old games seeing remakes/sequels and spiritual successors from the original creators lately.
I can't imagine them not making it at this point. A week ago they were down $50K, this morning they were down $9K. Right now they are down less than $5K. They have two days to go as of right now, so I feel confident they'll hit the $400K mark. Can't wait for my TJ&E vinyl figures in a few months.
I just wanna say too that Greg Johnson is a very nice guy that was completely cooperative when ZakhooiTM wanted to release the TJE3 Dreamcast Beta.
Too bad it's no where close to any console stretch goal. I don't see it getting there in 46 hours. But it would be nice.
Indeed. But maybe it'll sell decently or maybe a publisher will pick it up... you never know. They said it could be two years before the game comes out, so there's a lot of time there for something to happen.

Ahh, 2 goals away from PS4! So close, yet so far away. Still, I'm really happy they got as much funding as they did. Very excited to play this.
