really dont know where to post this, hoping its ok here... Looking to replace my ageing plasma with a new one, been looking at some today and its quite alarming how few inputs most new screens have today. ultimately i want my DC to run through the VGA or at least the official scart i have. my current 6 year old samsung doesnt like the DC scart lead ad refuses to show a picture, i read the DC scart can cause problems on certain TVs. Is the PC RGB input the same as a VGA input? Has anyone bought a new screen recently that they use their DC with? thanks for any advice...
Yes, the "PC RGB" input is just a standard VGA input. You can use the VGA box for the Dreamcast through that port.
I have a Samsung series 5 LCD hdtv & I bought it solely for my dreamcast, it has every connection in the book (well a few of each :encouragement and a vgaport as well. its a model of a few years back, but they can still be found in stores & are relatively cheap
