New Twinkle Star Sprites?

Supposedly a PS2 port of the game upcoming! They better damn well release it in US/EU!

It's probably not "maintsream" enough to sell over here. SNK are jerks when it comes to Europe anyway - how many years did it take them to release any Metal Slug on a (non Neo Geo) console here? 7? 8 years?

 

Didn't you guys also get Metal Slug X on PSX?

 

We did, but it was in the summer of 2002 or 2003 I think - didn't you get it much earlier?

now that is VERY odd. I remember, cough, requisitioning an Inebriation Superflatory Octothorpe of Metal Slug X several months before the game appeared in stores here, it was NTSC (ie wouldnt play on my Sony TFT) *and* didn't contain any Japanese... in fact I was pretty sure it was the US version.

 

Why would they release it on an alien console? And why would someone want that?

...they better include the saturn anime intro. I don't think the DC version had it, stupid :/ It's actually better than the gameplay, hehe.
