Hello everyone, If there is a thread already about this topic, my bad. I am curious if there is any info about Star Wars Battlefront 3? How far is it along or who is developing it? Is the game still being made or not? Please let me know. Thanks for listening.
The original battlefield 3 was canned by its developer. Another developer picked it up but there's been no word on it since. That was more than a year ago. I think this series is done and Lucasarts will reboot it under a new title if they ever revisit it.
I know one of the original devs for SWBF3. He was lucky enough to be kept on when the company was merged with another. I believe the license and code went across too. I'll try and find out more info but the guy is a dick and I really don't like speaking to him. That's not me saying check me out cos I know someone but I can't tell you anything...excuse...excuse. I'll find out what I can. No promises.
If this was canned, it'd be my holy grail. Loved the first two. Wasn't so wild about the one for PSP though.
Free Radical the original developer was sold to Crytek and were renamed Crytek UK, it looks like there working on Timesplitters 4.
