i dont know if this winds people up as it winds me up... Currier are useless i must admit every time i ever order or send something i seem to have problems. my major gripe at the moment is that amazon say that my parcel would be here by 1200 its now 2252. the cheek of it is this isnt the first time amazon/city link have done this. rant over....
It is the christmas period, where the postal services tend to be a lot busier then other times of the year. I am sure one day won't kill you, but still demand a refund on the postage if nothing.
I've sent things by courier for next day postage and had it show up sometimes 3 or 4 days late. I've sent things by royal mail first class and EVERYTIME it's showed up next day. Note that the former is often double or triple as much.
I've been waiting for a package from Japan, which was sent via EMS to be a christmas gift, since 13 December. Express, my Arse. I feel your pain, mate.
What does the tracking status say? Has it left Japan and entered your country yet? I got an EMS parcel from Japan to the UK in only three days; it was sent on the 14th of December and arrived at my door on the 17th (which was a Saturday). Hopefully your wait will be over soon, as that is a long time for EMS (unless customs are holding it maybe?).
Try ordering something from Gamestop's site using next day delivery, only to find out that the warehouse is less than 30 minutes away, and it would have arrived the next day no matter what.. fml
got the board today amazingly, was quite shocked to open the door and find a city link guy at my door
I've paid for next day delivery with some places before and it arrived several days later... via next day delivery. The courier was fine and did it within 24 hours - the problem is the store spent several days sitting on the order before doing anything about it.
I hadn't seen the tracking status of the package. Last time it had moved, it had "office of outward exchange TOKYO" as its status. Now, it says "MEXICO - EMS Customs" (and has a notice of delay of "all items to Mexico" link). It took 15 days from "Outward exchange" to "Mexico Customs" - mainly because of Mexico's awesome customs office. The fact that it's been tracked in Customs is good news, though. Generally, packages stolen by customs disappear shortly before that. From Customs to my house, depending on which airport "Customs" means (it just says "Mexico" - so it could be any port, Mexico City or even Guadalajara International) - it'll probably take up to 3,4 days. Let's see.
