hi everyone! I'm thinking of getting a Asus Nexus player to replace my windows based HTPC. Has anyone ever used one, I'm planing on running kodi (xbmc) as thats what my current system is set up for. The only downside I see at the moment is because it's android I can run windows apps but I guess I could always use a laptop on the tv to play lan games (not very often) is it worth getting? does it support 5.1 via hdmi? I'll probably root and install a custom rom however light pack does not work on android very well.. other option is linux with apple tv 1 and hd video card
