My collection is in a constant state of flux, whatever I get bored of I tend to flog immediately, and I don't have the time or energy to put up fancy displays for stuff that changes location, gets sold, modded, or <gasp> played every day or three. In my humble opinion if you've got your stuff set out nicely then you're a collector not a player. That said, here's the crap pile as it was last year: http://nfg.2y.net/temp/roompics Tower of X68000s My desk as it was a month ago Mutrons ASCII pads 2 HiSaturns (A rare sight indeed) Korean Neo Hu7D PCE Devthing The stuff as it was in the old apartment These pics are out of date by now and don't show the 300 X68000 games I've got in giant piles around the room, the stacks of boxed ASCII pads, XRGB units, complete run of BackupTechnique magazines and a nearly complete GameLab set, the custom pads n sticks, the newly modified this n that... etc. It's a crazily dynamic place, fancy displays are just out of the question, tho I wish I could, they're mad pretty. Yay for gaming. =)
Hey NFG. Nice collection. Do you still have that TeraDrive for sale or sell one around late september (when I'll be $1,200 richer)??
How much is an X68000 worth? I've always kinda wanted one (mostly to play the Castlevania game for it in its Original format ^_^)
I would lvoe to pick one up ^_^ But chances of me finding teh Castlevania game for it are slim....well, chances of me finding it and being able to afford it ^_^ P.S. Sorry for going OT
What is an X68000? Perhaps the better question should have been "What is google?" http://nfg.2y.net/games/x68k/
Those plastic tubs might be the sanest thing I've seen in anyone's collections. Especially for where housing space runs such a premium. I must be a player then... most of my stuff is in boxes in the closet.
That is a downright beautiful room - I don't feel so bad about my cluttered mess of wires, controllers, carts, and jewel cases. :smt040 If I might ask, WHERE did you get that awesome metal shelf pictured in your old desk pic? Something like that would be just what I've been looking for for the longest time to organize everything...
Considering he lives in Japan, I think that's irrelevant GSL That is standard rack style shelving. Look in an office equipment catalogue, or any other kind of industrial catalogue.
Nice pics, but I disagree on the quote of if you got your stuff out nicely, your a collector not a player. I got most of my stuff displayed nicely (the systems mostly) and i always find time to play them so to ur quote Nice stuff though
