Eh? That looks like the dev box gamepad. The Nr unit I believe comes with a normal gamepad (not sure what color).
Um... everything Square start button instead of round, more circles on the purple plastic, D-pad is weird, all the buttons on the right are blue and what should be the B button is kidney-shaped rather than circular, Z button is square... NR reader comes with a standard purple pad.
Subbie is correct. That is not an NR pad, but rather a prototype revision of the GC pad. Has nothing to do with the NR units. -hl718
