Is it really going to be called PS Vita? If so i think it's a horrible name for what seems like a great looking console or at least from those screenshots anyway.
Uncharted looks amazing! Can't wait for the system tbh. Hope Sony gets online right for it so I can enjoy Uncharted and Call of Duty online on the move!
static (pre-rendered?) touched up promo pics dont say shit. Plus they are 1280*720, i dont think the console will output that res.
It's typical for dev units to output resolutions higher for the purpose of screenshots for web or print. I have seen this with the Wii and PSP so far.
It beats the Kal-El demos from nvidia Ironic considering the NGP uses PowerVR GPUs (yeah, that one) while the RSX its a GF7900. Wipeout looks PSP-grade though...
True, but you cant say anything about the game by just seeing these promo shots obviously. Anyway, moving stuff: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W82RHqL8FDs includes touch
Square is HEAVYILY guilty of this. YES i'm looking at you , screenshots of Dissidia and Crisis core which all looked to have AA and other stuff in the screenshots but lack any and all of it on the actual games
Videos from uncharted and wipeout (cross play with ps3 confirmed) http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/06/02/ngp-previews-let%E2%80%99s-talk-games-starting-with-uncharted/ http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/06/02/wipeout-your-ps3-opponents-on-ngp/
The Uncharted demo is just amazing, told you losers (you all know which ones I'm talking about) that ARMs could be pretty badass in the right hands. They may as well just port PS3 games to it, I'm not getting one now that this thing is going for sale. But I dont like the talk about "possibilities" in the video, there was a load of the same crap with the PSP and the only game which I felt truly pushed that console was Peace Walker. Even GTm was a fucking disappointment, let alone late
How can you scrap a game that is already on the market? Nope, You'll be shocked what the NGP can really do.
Awesome screens... but as awesome as they are I wonder how it'll be up close and in person on the portable. Also PS Vita doesn't seem like a proper name.... sounds like something you'd find as a vitamin supplement...
