Anyone had this mod performed? If so, is it worth it? I'm sick of angling the thing to get the right light levels, it ruins real-time games. If it is worthwhile, anyone near the UK that'll perform the mod for a reasonable price?
I've spent, off and on, 3 years trying to find someone to do it. There used to be a guy named Dan Mirren that did it for people but by the time I found out about it the email was a dead account. If you find out please post. -Jason
They turn up every so often on ebay, but I'm more concerned whether it's actually worth it. I swear I saw a site recently which was offering installations for $50 or so, damned if I can find it now.
Man, this is so bizarre. I dug out my NGPC just yesterday and was playing Card Fighters Clash, wishing the machine had a backlight. Anyone find details on this, be sure to forward to me too I know there is a method using the GBA Afterburner kit....but my Afterburner mod wasn't the best :/
