I was looking up stuff for my NES Everdrive and I found a pretty neat page showing a bunch of different modifications: http://vaot.mydns.jp/fc/nfau.htm

Not sure if anyone has seen this. Google Translate does a crappy job, it would be nice to see if anyone who knows Japanese can translate some stuff for us!

I'd be most interested in his SNES RGB mod for the older revisions. That circuit he made is a ton of soldering!

I also like the FDS mod where it is powered from the NES.

One of the mods towards the bottom involved a Famicom Controller 2. Is that a mod that allows the mic to be used on an AV Famicom???

I really hope it is!! I know that the NES front loader has the signals for the mic on the expansion port but nobody has been able to figure out how to wire it up. Hopefully this guide could fix it and allow NES owners to experience that awesome microphone!

I saw this page too from another thread here a little while back and decided to try it out. I installed it in an old GPM-01 and it really does sharpen up the edges to near-1CHIP quality and removes most if not all of the right-side blur. It's not quite perfect as it trades this sharpness for a bit of undershoot and color distortion on those edges in some cases, but that's totally minor in comparison to the large improvement in image quality.

    Here's my mod:
