Perhaps we could have a Japan sticky list
Where to buy (sub heading ..things for legion ..:p )

I was wondering where the best places to buy nicely fitted shirts were?
That are not too expensive as I have seen some ridiculous prices for plain shirts.
In particular I am after a red slim fit shirt (I have one from uk but its too big for me now, it is a 15 inch neck but I can get 14.5 and maybe 14 now).

Ive had a walk around Shinjuku but most places are like over 5000 yen!
    What!

And I havent found a red one..

    1: H&M.
2: Uniqlo if they fit (I have long appendages (badump tssh!) so long sleeves from Uniqlo are rather wonky on me. I do have some heat tech for sports though.
    3: Maybe Zara.

There's a T-shirts only chain in Harajuku, and Shibuya (on the way to Harajuku). Some are US fit, some are Japan. They don't have plain shirts though. They all have a design. They are 2500 yen each, or 2 for 4000 yen. Then there's Hen-T in Shibuya. Same as above, other than the price structure.

    Thanks GaijinPunch
The red shirt will probably be the hardest to find..
There is a Next shop in Yokohama and I heard Jiogauga and the next shirts can be good but pricey here in Japan.
Taka-Q have some around 2500 yen mark but still no red...

If it's a dress shirt you want try the suit shops such as Aoiyama. They're normally quite cheap at around 2000 yen or less. The problem is colour. I don't think they'd have red. Apart from that there's Uni-Qlo as GaijinPunch mentioned.

H&M is likely your best bet, although light blue, orange, and purple have been the main colors the last couple of falls. I got a red one, but it's got writing all over it, and I got it in United Fucking States of America.

Uniqlo and American Apparel (they have stores in Japan too) are your best bet. Maybe United Colors of Benetton as well. Else I'd just order online, much easier.

    I would definitely say Uniqlo.

Wish we had more stores here in the US, or a functioning online store.

Mujirushi is where I buy a lot of my clothes. Try there. Their selection isn't huge, but they usually have nice men's clothing.

Their prices are ridiculous across the board when you consider the name of the fucking store means "generic".

I get em on clearance! They are fairly generous when things are put on clearance. They usually go on clearance about 3 weeks after being put on the shelves. Luckily for me "Large" is not a popular size in Japan and there are a couple L sizes left....and a shitload of LL sizes which are too big.
