Hi! I am into retro PC games hacking and PS1/PS2 and Wii gaming. I'll post what consoles I have here, sorry if I made some mistake: --Playstation-- PS1 SCPH-5552(bought today, has a 5 wire chip,I found that while I was cleaning the case, games load kind of hard, need to play around with the CD pot until everything works fine) PS1 SCPH-9002(has a 4 wire chip, spindle is half broken but loads games perfectly) PS2 SCPH-50003(silver,I need a new DVD drive,as the one it has won't work and the power ribbon cable broke off) --Wii-- 2006 RVL-001(4.2E menu, and it has so much programs on it that I'll have to use even the SD Card menu!) --Xbox-- 1.0 motherboard, but it FRAGs due to a failed repair I tried (tried Llama's Coma Console fix) And that's all I have when it comes to consoles. Not listed is a dead NES clone.
Hi Nec, If you'd like help on the Xbox side, I may be able to help. They sell "broken" xbox's at my local store (usually only the drive is bad and mostly just dirty). I can pick you up once as replacement parts for around $5 plus shipping. Is your Wii hacked as well, I see you chippd your PS1. I recall doing mine back in the late 90s, it was a BIG Pain.
Don't worry,I'm planning on getting a newer version of the Xbox by the way,1.0 are just too old for me.(I set my target on a 1.3,I might get it then mod it in every easy way possible ) Wii,it's hacked too,I've got it that way since I've bought it. PS1,both were bought chipped, but I need to find other broken PS1s as those 2 have some flaws: 1.The spindle on the 9002 broke down completely, just the holder is intact (that part with the metal balls) 2.The 5552 has missing tabs on the spindle, thus games having a really hard time loading.Laser is perfect, though.
Gotcha, original PSOne consoles go pretty cheap (visit shopgoodwill.com). The best Xbox version is 1.4 usually.
