http://youtube.com/watch?v=4TGtl-7Dg-I Have a look at my work comment and if you want more info, ask! Sorry about the crap quality and the sound (which goes out of sync once SSF starts), it's not my fault.
Sure thing: You'll need PPJoy installed as well. The script was originally by vkapadia (who I don't know), but I modified it to use the Nunchuck for analog stick movements and the C and Z buttons. The previous one used the tilt sensor instead.
Well I just wanted to play using an analog stick right now (I've played Sonic on the Wii, and I think the control ruins it), But I'm sure I could adjust it to work
I m not certain you can use the Wiin remote functions directly in-game, as there's no scripting option. It's mapped to your mouse's abstraction layer btw (both the IR and the gyro - point/drag accordingly)
Not with GlovePIE (no Wiin remote involved) - it simply maps a certain Wiimote action with PPJoy, which creates a virtual joypad in Windows. I set the A button to be button 6 in the Windows Gamepad control with PPJoy, go to configure SSF and map the buttons. I could make it so that movement of the Wiimote\Nunchuck could = a button pressed though, should I want it to. Ie if I shake the Wiimote, it presses A.
can you prescribe the range of motion in coords etc? (short stroke = a button, long stroke=b button?)
No idea, havn't tried it out yet. It uses boolean logic though, so maybe if GyroX > x.xx then _____ maybe?
well you'd want to limit it by "equal or greater than (first value) AND lesser than (second value)" ;p
Youtube bug. It uploaded 2 by mistake, so I removed one and pasted the other link, but it didn't seem to work. Fixed now.
