If you wait long enough and check frequently enough, I think you'll find one for a better price than that.

I'm also in Australia, you can definitely get an N64 with several games for less than $120, including shipping and proxy service fees.

Oh god, stop using Buyee immediately!:confused::confused: They're horrible at packaging things and I received so many damaged items from them that I permanently switched to Zenmarket. Zenmarket offers a much wider range of shipping options, and they're pretty good at packaging things too (but if anything goes wrong with them, don't blame me :p). They offer FedEx, UPS, and DHL on top of all the Japan Post options, and sometimes they're cheaper.

I'm also using Zenmarket. They are good at packaging indeed but be aware they have fees for every little thing and are not really upfront about it.

Sounds like you got lucky then! I recently bought an IBM PS/V bundle through Zenmarket; it had a whole computer and keyboard in there, along with some expansion cards and floppy disks, and it was all packaged so perfectly. They even put these really cool thick cardboard (almost like wood) supports around the edges of the box, it was well protected.

Zenmarket is pretty much the same as Buyee in terms of fees (as in, there's a 200 yen fee every time you win something, and then you have to pay 1500 if you want extra packaging which is something you would only really want if you're combining multiple auctions into one package, or if you're buying something fragile).

YOU ORDERED LASERDISCS THROUGH BUYEE?! I'm surprised none of them showed up cracked to bits :p I was even afraid of taking LaserDiscs with me in a backpack when I was returning to Tokyo from my vacation in Hokkaido.

Nice! What LaserDisc player do you have? I managed to score a Pioneer LaserActive with the Mega Drive module, remote, and two Mega LD games for 30,000 yen when I was living in Tokyo. After that, I just bought every movie that I saw at HardOff or BookOff that I knew I would like - I must have around 80-ish LaserDiscs now.

This is really offtopic for this thread lol, whoops :p

I asked if I could know if the package would fit in a particular price range and if there was space for more. They told me I could just create a package and change it later without problem. So I did.
Then I wanted to add more to the package because there was plenty of space left. They asked me for a 1000 yen fee.

I get it was written deep somewhere on the site but they said nothing about it when I contacted them, which I think isn't right.

Another thing, they don't verify your account.
I made a small typo in my email address. I didn't log off so there was no problem. Then one time I had to access it on another computer and couldn't log in. It took about 10 days for them to start caring and finally told me the right address, which I had to create because they didn't want to change it. Also they lost some of the messages I sent them.
