Nintendo and Sony didn't use the real deal at E32k6?

    The Wii stuff was running off of a modified Gamecube with Wii hardware built into it...or at least that's what they say.

    There was another link somewhere where they showed a computer playing the Wii behind the scenes. I don't see a big concern here. Companies do this all the time. Just means the hardware isn't finalized. I don't see how the PS3 will ship in November in the US though.

    Everyone do that. Heck, the xbox 360 demos of last year were running on g5s..

    Half the time stuff at e3 runs on dev kits and not actual units (dev kits usualy have more ram).

    Probably the greatest one I ever saw was the last turok running on a gcn devkit (i think G-DEV unit) at e3 and not only was the loading time worse then the era of ps1 (or even the 1 min load on Midnight club 3 for psp), the games framerate was horendus.
