Now i'm disapointed, i thought they found THE revolution, a revolutionary way to play games, to be entertained, that would change the way you see video games forever! They said they wouldn't show it because they didn't wanted it to be copied by their enemies, but the truth is that nintendo doesn't even know what the hell they are doing with the revolution! well, they're still testing what could be on the controller (Noooo!! not a CONTROLLER!!!!!!) and all, they're working on three options, and they're still working on each one to finally choose, from what i've read in several places and what i was told. cahaz _
Uhh the next system isn't going to come out for quite some time. Nintendo has plenty of time to make revisions to everything.
You might want to learn the difference between revising controllers and planning their design. Nintendo has basically been kind enough to inform us that it's designs for its new controllers are past the architectural drawing board and are being decided between a few different hands on models to finalize. In no way did what they said mean what you have interpreted as. Researching how a game\system or even product is created would probably help you a great deal in the future.
yes, but they've told to everyone who would like to hear it that their secret weapon was revolutionnary, and they wouldn't show it since they feared that another compagny could steal their idea, but all this was big lies, since they don't even know what the hell they will do at the end! everything so far was hype, what a disapointement. ..i still hope though.
meh, they are choosing between possibilities for their revolution, i'm calling this one of the first stage of developement. And i don't want a controller anymore! :no
id wait and see cahaz, something tells me this generation is possibly going to be sonys downfall, the psp wont even fully outdo the ds until the price is droped, even though i recently got one a bit cheaper and am happy with it, i do know that sony needs to act fast as i got a feeling nintendo will regain control again, i mean microsoft is really sturggling to get xbox 360 out the door, and event the we have not seen the ps3 run a final game yet, remember that these are based on current specs, not final, i remember how they boasted how powerful the ps2 would be( which led to some damn ridiculess stories on what it could do) and the thing is alot weaker then game cube and x-box. Event then, remember when the ds was anounced everyone was not sure if it would sell, now the damn thing is selling even better in japan, adn the us situation will get better as alot more titley will be coming in the summer, and lets not forget that ds games have yet to reach $50, so far ive seen $40 at max, just give it time.
I wouldn't doubt it, seeing as though no company has ever managed to dominate the market for more then two generations thus far. Then again, A new company that previously didn't make their own systems has always been the one to defeat the established market leader, and we wont be getting that next generation. It should be interesting to see what happens.
Im really losing my motivation to comment on these types of comments, but explain how they are fucked when they are making all the money?
i think it will be sony's downfall too, the cursed 3 always worked, for a mysterious reason. and everything seems to be heading this way, for me anyway. playstation's name isn't as shinny as it was, and most of people now know how sony always hype their machine, and how cheap they're made. i smell it, they won't take a part of the pie as large as it was in the last two generation.
Yay! Another Nintendo-Bashing! Come on, guys, we all know better. None of the systems suck yet because they're yet to be released! All 3 machines might rock, all 3 might suck, this might be the console crash or the second golden age. Let's wait a year. I'm looking forward to Revolution the way I looked forward to N64 (which sucked), PS2 (Which sucked) and Dreamcast (which rocks). Let's see what happens and stop worrying! Let's not curve and twist the words of articles like they were nipples, and get together to twist and torque the nipples of peace for all mankind!
You just brought about a strangely erotic new way of looking at articles - I don't think I'll ever read IGN the same way again. But really, would twisting nipples actually achieve peace for mankind? I'd think it would make people crankier, if anything. And it's threads like these and some of the posts ("Face it, Nintendo is fucked.") that make it rather hard to differentiate between this forum and GameFAQS recently. "OMG NINTENDO IZ SOOOO FUCKED CUZ SONY'S PS3 IS GONNA HAVE A ROBOT AN LAZERZ!!!111 NINTENDO HASN'T EVEN SHOWN THER CONTROLER, SO THEYLL LOSE BY DEFAULT!! I AM BEST INTERNET PUNDIT!!!!1111LOLZ!"
In my view, Nintendo can't appeal to the casual gamer with a short attention span. Sony and MS have brainwashed them well enough to get the idea that Nintendo is just for kids (the average gamer now is between 18-25, male). Both of their hype machine has worked so well that it has put Nintendo in a bad marketing position that is difficult to get out of. Nintendo is very much like Disney, in which it has tough standards a third party developer has to abide by. And of course the remarks I get for my comment make it rather hard to differentiate between this forum and GameFAQs recently....
The Nintendo Revolution will simply be a suped-up Gamecube using a head mounted Virtual Boy display, dual Power Gloves for the main interface and a Power Pad for movement...
