Can anyone tell me what the Dolphin dev kit looked like? Any pics? I remember hearing about how scarce they were, but I don't think I've ever seen a pic of the dev kit. *Edit* Is this just a prototype mockup for the actual console?
Well, someone posted pictures of his collection on the Ultimate Collection Pics forum and there's something there with the Dolphin logo. Maybe that's what you're looking for: http://www.assemblergames.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=2923
... early dolphin devkits were in a PC-style casing, but i have no info what their limitations were....
I remember back in December 1998 me and my mate were given a green flyer about the Nintendo Dolphin. We both bined them though :smt022 Should have kept them now when I look back. Yakumo
it was a front loading white non cube looking thing with a dolphin and ibm logo!!! i saw it on a mexican show about video games too bad is not on anymore
www.oldengineer.info/ddh.jpg This is the picture of the Dev Kit I presume you lot are referring to? ...DDH (Dolphin Development Hardware) ...My Avator shows the other type of Dev Kit being the NPDP-GDEV ...If you look closely at my avator you will see that in the top left hand corner of the console there is a cute little Dolphin badge
Eva01- What mexican show about videogames? The one on "canal-22 " (Mexico city) or one from a local station?
The name was Dolphin until the last few months, I am sure of that and they kept the dolphin theme with the controller, look at it again and you will notice the controller is in the shape of a dolphin. I am sure the console would have had this theme too, until the project went down the Cube road becoming Starcube then Gamecube.
http://www.anthologeek.net/genshitony/video/pilot/Dolphin d'avril.rm Is it a real prototype or just a fake ? And I've never seen that controller anywhere else but... I dunno. Does anyone ever seen this ? If you want me to translate the french text I can...
That was the most fake ass shit I have ever seen. You do realize this thread is over four years old??
Get Media Player Classic with QuickTime Alternative Real Alternative Edit: I think VLC can playback some .mov and .rm files too.
Indeed, Realplayer alternative codec and Quicktime Alternative codecs are much much nicer. Realmedia files are still used by places like the BBC to stream their radio broadcasts.
