nintendo DS and palm OS

I've been reading the rumors for the DS and palm OS and it sounds kinda exciting.
I know a lot of people don't like it, but down the road couldn't the DS be one of most inexpensive PDAs that can actually play games. When does the software come out? What applications will nintendo be offering for it?

 

Last I read there had been no official Nintendo announcements about it......so I guess we just have to wait and see.

 

Which will most likely be during e3. *patiently waits for e3*

 

Isn't it an awfully small screen to run some apps on? :/

 

Fuck that you paid for a portable console... not a console that is gonna be turned into a pda and to be left for people developing for the gameboy 2.

 

I've already got the thing, why not? Secondly a PDA OS "COULD" open up development possibilites and maybe some additional emulation for all of us to use.

Nothing wrong with having some good emu's on the Ds i wouldn't mind a genesis or n64 emulator

 

Genesis should be possible, but no way will N64.

 

Awfully small to play 3D games on...

 

I like how the first thought that comes to most peoples' minds when confronted with an idea like this is emulation...

I read somewhere - on The-Magicbox, I believe, that this PalmOS license and the new trademark V-Pocket are both somehow related.
