  3. So does anyone actually know what the DS looks like?

These dev kits won't help. I saw a piccie of the original GBA Dev kit. It was a PCB probably 6inch2, with the screen on the bottom corner, a SNES pad wired in and a PC link cable. Will try to find piccie, if anyone interested.

So this probably looks the same, with 2 screens. I wanna see the damn thing. All nice and shiney silver and all......

  4. Oh man, if you could find a pic, that would be awesome. I'd love to get a peek at a DS devkit because I'm sure in the references and stuff, they'd probably outline a lot of the system specs that have only really been hinted at until now - that would definately be cool to see.

Well, you're right about the fact that the devkit probably won't look much like the final system...but it will probably at least give us an idea with what we're dealing with.

I bet a picture will turn up soon enough...us fat, lazy westerners lack ethics. I bet at the very least something will turn up before DS is unveiled at E3.

Nintendo has a unveiling party one day before E3. I don't think we'll see anything before that time.

    That's odd.... ; )

I just happen to be going to E3 (again) this year. :)
Don't worry, I'll get lots of pictures of the DS and its games; I'll probably host a bunch of the pictures online.

And of course, I will auction off some stuff that I get at E3... stay tuned....

I can't wait to see what this new system can do. The twin screen is a very interesting idea. Let's hope that it's used well and not used like one screen for gaming with the other full of stats.

back in the 80's, Virtual Reality gaming was a cool idea, but look at what happened.

But we won't have to wear a 12pound headset that makes us look like "I'm an idiot. Hit me." That is the difference ;).
